EGR Valve
Hey guys, got a '99 F250 v10 with about 158k on it. I was wondeting what issues I might have if I remove my egr valve and block it off? I have an SCT that allows me to turn it off. Would I benefit from this or not? Hurt anything? Thanks.

Well more then likely the V10 won't run right if you have the EGR Valve cut off. Probably no benifit taking it off or keeping it on. You would for sure have your check engine light on all the time which may be distrubing I know my mom says it is disturbing on her 97 Expy since we need to fix the EGR Valve. Also you might see worse gas mileage I know our 97 Expy is seeing a slight lower gas mileage.

You can run no EGR. You may get slightly worse MPG, and throw a CEL if you can't turn it off but sounds like you can. It will more then likely still pass emissions. But I'm not 200% sure on that.
