Bad Fuse Panel, Intermitent Starts
2004 F250 5.4L Plow Truck
Starts and runs as should. Recently after driving to the store it fails to start upon reentering the vehicle. Upon testing determined the starter trigger wire is good from fuse panel to starter, starter is good, ignition is good, relay is good.
Upon key turn the relay activates, but power never makes it to the trigger wire. Interestingly enough if you bypass and jump the starter the vehicle usually will restart fine. So far it will restart fine the following day. This has happened 2 times.
I have leaned toward a bad part of the circuit board in the fuse box, but have not ruled out something to do with the ECU. I am also temped to just leave it and install a momentary starter switch, but would rather fix it correctly.
Thanks for any insight in advance.
