Side window seals
I need to replace the side window seals on my 75 f100. It appears that I need to remove the door panel. Is this correct? And I need that slick tool that removes the clip behind the window crank? Am I correct again?

Ben, the window crank comes off with the phillips screw. There is no clip on these trucks. There will be a spring under the panel so be aware of that. As for the door latch, there is a phillps there as well. Be careful taking the panel off so you do not break the plastic on the back of the panel where the clips are held on at.

Its been a while since I replaced mine, but I don't believe that you have to remove the door panels to remove and replace the window channel/seals or even the dew wipers.

yes you will have to remove the door panal,drop the glass/crank mech remember the seals fit tight on the glass and you need the room with no glass to install you may as well do all the seals/felt at this point,clean up and oil/ grease the locks, arms,gears, under coat the bottom inside doors,dyna-mat ect like dak said be carfull with the door panals get a flat fork tool to do this and supercab is right use d/c as the quality is #1 i also tried the cheap stuff here didnt work the metal used is too soft just bends not springy like originals [i did 3 trucks this way] hope this helps
