Need to locate the latch bolt that's attached to the radiator support in my 72 F100, inorder to secure my latch of course!. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!!!!
The pic is poor and I don't see anything in the truck parts catalog that's hood latch related that attaches directly to the radiator support.
The upper grille panel has a rectangular opening. The hood latch plate (1969/72 F100/350: C9TZ-16900-A) attaches to it with (4) 57040-S36 .. Screw & Washer ~ 5/16" -18 x 1 1/16" long.
Looks like it slips in from the front and the two round clips or bowed out looking thing-gies hold on to the radiator support! Located on the left and right to keep it from falling in!
