97 Ford Raner will not start
Hi all I'm new to this forum so please forgive my mistake.
I have a 1997 Ford ranger 4.0 4 X 4 that was giving me a hard time starting I would have to push the clutch in several times and sometimes I would slam the clutch in and then it would start. However now it will not start at all. I thought it might be the clutch interlock switch so I replaced that still will not start. The truck has a new selenoid, starter and clutch interlock switch plus a battery. Note I can start the truck if I put a remote starter switch on the selenoid (on the firewall) starts right up. When I try to start it I get no clicking sound either. Could it be the ignition switch or key lock. Any ideas I would appreciate the help.
