When I bought my truck it was my understandiing that the camper pkg gave me the heaviest front spring available for my truck. It is a dually with a FAWR of 5940 lbs if I remember correctly.
I have both the camper package and FX4 on my 2012 F250. Each has it's own positives. I do hunt in mine, so the FX4 package options come in handy and I tow a 10k travel trailer and the camper package helps with it, although I did add Air Lift rear air bags to keep everything right where I like it.
Awesome truck. If you don't off road, or hit many dirt roads the camper package may be better for your needs since you tow heavy from time to time.
Enjoy your new truck, which ever one you pick.

THe camper package includes heavy duty suspension, extra heavy service front springs, 200 amp alternator, rear stabilizer bar, rear auxilary springs, but not the heavy service springs. All for 160 bucks cheap. I think the springs on the cp are stiffer thn the snow plow springs.
Thanks all for the thoughts! I for sure want the camper pkg,
Although one of these trucks I was looking at sold today. So now we'll have to keep looking, might even end up getting both pkgs!
Thanks again!
When I bought my truck F350 DRW it came with the FX4 package and the 5th wheel package but not the camper package. The rear springs look heavy it has both the upper and lower overloads. I should have my camper put on this weekend. I will let you know.
I got the FX4 package with the snow plow springs. Yes the shocks are crap so just upgrade to Bilsteins right away. You won't be disappointed. The heavier springs are a great value. Functional and look great. Also a plus if you want a larger tire/wheel and they are a huge visual plus. I put the Ready Lift stage 4 lift on and my truck is looking tough.
