Mine is that way too, thought the way the plastic faded was different because of a steering wheel cover or something. I talked to both previous owners and they said it was never wrecked and they had nothing to loose by lying to me, they both traded it off to dealers so they didn't stand to make or loose money at that point if something had happened. Must just be a quirky thing..

Best investment I have ever made was for a rug doctor. For house and vehicles it works like no other!
Just this spring I bought a car that was covered in filth, smelled, and the blue carpet was black.
After some time with the doc it smells great, the carpet is blue again, and everything isn't sticky. lol I love it!
