e4od and 4r70w electrical system the same?

e4od and 4r70w electrical system the same?
I was surfing the net and came upon something that is puzzling me. A web site call mass-air.com offers pretty much anything you would ever need to swap to mass air.
I was reading through there complete kit setup for our trucks, and the product they sell is for both the 4r70w and the e4od. It makes no distinction between the two, unless I am completely reading this wrong.
I have always thought that the e4od used a different setup than the 4r70w, because of the electronics to the tranny. Am I wrong? or will the wiring harness and pcm of a truck with a 4r70w also run an e4od truck?
If the 4r70w mass air system will run the e40d tranny and engine I am doing a swap asap, I have a complete mass air system for a 4r70w just laying around.
