After a year or 2 of having issues with the windshield wipers, turn signals, and brake lights, I finally decided to replace the multifunction switch. The brake lights occasionally didn't work, or the blinker didn't work, or windshield wipers wouldn't turn off, I figured the multifunction switch was the culprit. It was, and $154 later everything works correctly. While I had it apart, I was going to replace the rubber boot at the bottom of the column shift lever, at the column, but I almost choked when the parts guy said $66 for that little bugger! I said, I will do without it, lol. I don't think I want to ask for a price for a new driver side window switch. It no longer lights up, and the spare one I have doesn't either. I will have to just stay in the dark!
I took mine apart cleaned all the connectors and she worked fine. this happens alot on motor homed cus they sit alot and corrison forms on the connectors and they dont make contact.
She came from the Canadian oil fields. That light brown clay dust was EVERYWHERE! I still find traces of it sometimes. That was what I found inside the MF switch.
Don't it figure. I was out in my shed today, and ran across a spare M/F switch! The turn switch lever has a different bend to it, but otherwise it's the same.
