Definantly going with the boss intake in the future then. I've always loved the power out of the lightning so if I can get that in my big 4x4 ill be extremely happy. After running about 500 miles on the 87 perf tune it just feels like it keeps getting stronger. Squeels 35" tires all through first gear and getting 2nd scratches. Gas mileage has returned to about stock considering the tire size and lift takes some away. Very happy. I've convinced my dad to order one for his 2009 single cab 2x4 4.6L. He's never had a tuner so I know he's going to be happy with his also
It was my understanding that you are not supposed to use a lower octane than you are tuned for. So no e85 with a 87 tune, no 89 with a 91 tune, etc. Could be wrong though as I am not 100% sure about e85 specifically.
