Front bumper brackets

Does anyone know where to buy the front bumper brackets at to raise the bumper up after installing a 3 inch body lift? I know they make them cause I put a set on a 79 250 that I had 20 years ago. Sad thing is I saw my old 250 at Dennis Andersons muddy motorsports park a few months ago and the guy had cut it all up to make a mudsling truck and had taken the front bumper off but the brackets were still there but he wouldnt sell them. Go figure. Even sadder was how bad the ole girl had been treated in the last 20 years since I sold it. It was beautiful when I got rid of it. Blue with silver insert paint, race track molding, a/c, cruise control, tilt wheel, delay wipers, custom seat cover, custem head liner(by Petes seats by the way). Its sad to see it neglected and abused. He had only had it for a week and I asked what he paid for it and he said $1500.00 so I affered him $2ooo.oo on the spot but he said no. Oh well I know where he lives so I'll just keep riding by and keep checking on it. The 460 was gone so was the tilt and cruise. (had a van steering column in it) Would take ALOT to get it where it was but it would be worth it. Give me one more project lol. Any way if anyone knows where to find those front bumper brackets let me know

20 years ago, you could buy the bumper brackets from Ford (F250 4WD & F350). Today, they're as obsolete as the dodo bird, almost as hard to find as Jimmy Hoffa.

The brackets used 1973/77 (D3TZ-17752-A Right & D3TZ-17753-A Left) are different than the brackets used on 1978/79's (D8TZ-17752-A Right & D8TZ-17753-A Left), as the 1978/79 bumper is different.
