Hey fellas, this is my first time postin on here but ive been lurking around ever since I bought my truck. I have a 2002 F350 regular cab long box. The body on it is starting to get a little rough thanks to our winter up here. I have a chance to buy a brand new 2011 regular cab cab and front end off of a 2011 F550. Will the body mounts be the same as my 02? I know id have to do some work at the front end but wasnt sure if the cab would just bolt up. Thanks in advanced!
IIRC there were slight changes for the 08+ years. I see lots and lots of problems with this. Your PCM, and all wiring will need to be swapped. You probably won't have any working guages since the PCM is different. I would look down south or west for a clean donor body. There out there.
Thanks man, I was looking through his thread earlier. The only thing is, he didnt replace his cab, just the front clip.
I have a chance at getting this for dirt cheap (see pic below) and want to put the entire thing on my 02 chassis. Im just trying to find out if the body mounts are the same on the 2011 as the 2002.
I'm not trying to come off as a wise guy, but do you have a tape measure? Get a helper and do some serious measuring and you should be able to determine if they are the same or close enough...

No no I hear ya. I plan on measuring mine tonight, but the cab in the picture isnt exactly local. Figured id ask you fellas before I go wondering through parking lots looking for a 2011 to measure
