I ordered shock mounts over 2 weeks ago and still haven't received.
I called them and left 3 messages, e-mail and still no response(as of yesterday).
Yesterday I threatened by e-mail to call PayPal and Rough Country and finally, I get a reply by e-mail that my order has been processed.
Well in my opinion it should have been processed when they hit my credit card 2 weeks ago.
He would not say when it was shipped or by who
I understand people get busy and have emergencies, but I know if I run my business this way, I wouldn't be in business very long
Looks like they may not be a stocking distributor for everything they sell, and simply "drop-ship" from their vendor's warehouses. While a very common thing in today's world, they have to actually place your order for anything to actually happen, and that's a large part of what sets some distributors' performance above that of some of their competition.
Look at Clay's operation as an example of "top-tier" in this field. He CARES about his customers, while the guy from whom you ordered may "not-so-much".
Do they have a Facebook page? I recently ordered some AR-15 parts (rifle) from a known dealer and had the same problem. They wouldn't answer the phone or my e-mails....then I found their Facebook page.
It was amazing how fast they contacted me after I posted my problem on their page. They even sent me 500 rounds of ammo...free.
Pop,
I agree totally, and have ordered from Clay with excellent results, but He doesn't carry this item on his site or I would have been ordering from him.
I ran a reviews check on this company before ordering and service looked good. I guess I should have called and talked 1on1.
Scott,
good idea, I will check and see if they are on FB
