driveline

quick question, where the front driveline goes into the axle housing my explorer is leaking oil. Is this hard to fix for a diy er or do the seals and and stuff need to be pressed in, and better for me to take it to shop.

Are you talking about where the front drive shaft goes into the front diff? that should be easy for a DIY.

IF you are talking about taking off a lock nut that holds a u-joint yoke to the shaft, i woul dthink twice. The nut crushes a sleeve and sets the preload on pinion bearings and pinion depth.
