Diff leaking ?

I had to replace a u joint on the front driverside wheel, after replacing I change the oil in the front diff. The other day before I pulled it out of the garage I notice some diff oil on the garage floor under the u joint just repaired. After a short 3 to 4 mile trip I noticed some more leakage in the same spot.
Is there some seal I did'nt notice to replace or did I just over fill the diff. ?
The leakage is not excessive, and I don't drive the truck offen, so I don't know if this is a real big problem, or almost nothing at all.

Wickymustang, the leak is coming from the axle tube, I replace the u joint on the front right wheel. The whole axle came out, I replaced the u joint the reinstalled the axle, I don't remember any seal, but the axle was out for about 3 months while I got around to replacing the joint before I put it back together....
