Antifreeze leak

Hey fellas ....coolant started leaking today. All hoses and clamps that i can see are good, no drips or any kind of wetness. After a while during idle and that engine got hot it started dripping/running down the underside of the oil pan. I cannot pinpoint exactly where its coming from. Hoping you guys may have an obvious answer and/or have experienced this one before . 2013 f150 5.0

This thread, my details in post #8 -> https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...lant-leak.html. There's also a link to a thread with pictures there.

Go to the drug store and get some baby powder. Sprinkle it around in the engine bay, it'll show where the leak is.

What did you end up doing? My 2011 had a frost plug heater leaking behind the alternator. I had to pull the alternator and put in a brass plug in place of the heater. Of course the Y fittings were leaking, also so I replaced those O-rings while I was at it.

Did you figure out were your antifreeze was leaking from? I only asked because I had the same situation on my 13 5.0. It ended up being the water pump and it was totally shot. I had 80k on mine. It leaked once it was warm. Hope you figured it out. Just looked for my video when mine did it but of course I deleted it from my phone. Anyway hope it’s fixed now.
