Damper Bolt won't budge!!!

Damper Bolt won't budge!!!

Please help! I am changing my timing gear assy and can't get the damper bolt out.
Is it left hand threads?
I have a breaker bar and small 5lb hammer and it won't budge.

'68 F250 w/390.

A trick I've heard about, but never tried, is to use the starter to break that bolt loose.

I have used a five foot pipe on a breaker bar to get one off. Luckily it didn't twist the bolt off in the crank. Those bolts must be pretty strong.
