Maybe the Moderator will move this for you
The easy way is with a code reader. You should get a
ScanGaugeII : Linear Logic - Home of the ScanGauge
they have them at Autozone also and then program in the Xguages
and you will have a lot of the needed info for this motor and
also be able to clear most codes. It's a very useful tool for out motors.
I say most because I found that there are some it won't clear
and had to use my Snap-on MT2500 to clear them. But I use the
ScanguageII with the Xguages to keep an eye on things day to day

and someone will help.
The only other way to clear codes is un hook the batteries and turn the
headlight switch to on for 15 minutes. The down side to that is it also
clears all the learned driving data and you will have to re-teach your
truck how you drive. That can take some time.
