help with undercoating and bed
brought 1970 ford f100 ranger xlt tuscon truck to ohio in september now in the quiet of the night i can hear it rusting. has surface rust only but ready to do something for winter. started thinking oil clear maintanace then discovered rust "converters" and finally stumbled across an oldie 395a. these are for the underneath. i also have to do the bed which i am planning on blasting and painting then using a drop in liner so i can keep it stock. question being does oil sprayed yearly really stop rust - like the clear option so i can see if is working where colored cover up hides problems. plenty of info available on converters - i like rust bullet and rust mort but not much info on 395a so any input on 395a and actual user results would be appreciated. being a tuscon truck it is solid with alot of surface rust. unrelated any leads on a seat belt extender that will work on my originals or maybe a model i could pull them from in the junk yard(3 point) for bench seat.
