compressor vs D.A.
I have just bought a craftsman 1.9 hp 2 cyl 29 gal professional air compressor, 5.8 cfm at 90. approx. 8.5cfm at 40.
Ihave a kobalt 6" da, eats air like a fat woman at a buffet.
is their a d.a. that is a little more air friendly... or is my compressor, to small,
The compressor manual says it will run a d.a, so im just wondering if my kobalt is just a piece of crap... It has an adjustment dial on the side of the handle, but if i move it just the tiniest bit, all the d.a. will do is give a gutteral grunt...
Im going to return the one i have and try another, but i dont have a lot of confidence that it will be any better...
any help and all opinions are appreciated

Looks like most need 8cfm but I would get a compressor that puts out 12 cfm or so.
Mine does 23 cfm and 2 DA's will drag it down just a bit. I also installed a 40 gallon tank after the main as a reserve.
