Went back to the plow dealer to tell him I can't pick the old plow up with the new mount on my truck. He says they gave me the wrong mount, here's the correct one. Got home and fired up the compressor to change the mount and the phone rings. It's the dealer calling to say he gave me the correct mount (the one already installed on the truck) the first time and NOT to change to the one he gave me today. Then says he'll send someone over to pick up the old plow. I thought that was pretty considerate of them. I pick to new plow up tomorrow. Gawd I hope they gave me the correct wiring harness. I don't even want to think about changing that out. I should have bought a snow blower instead....or paid them the $150 to install it. That might have been less hassle. I'm just too cheap for that though, and too **** to let someone I don't know take my new truck apart.
My studs on my exhaust manifold that bold to the y-pipe are broken. exhaust manifolds have to come off the rectify the situation. If I can't get the studs out, I'm going to have to replace the manifold. Seems they are about $120/each. I'm going to need to do the other side soon too.
