Tin nut is 3/4 I think. DON'T overtighten the tin nut on re-install. My 1 1/8 craftsman deepwell works just fine, and didn't cost 40 bucks.

Stupid tin nut, does it have something to do with the magnetism or electric current?

Yes the nut is 3/4". Also for the IPR you can use a 1/2" drive deep 6 point 29mm
PS, I the IPR is out, shouldnt you disamble it and clean any debris there?; they have been known to become sticky if debris enters the valve.
As you have e-fuel and not bowl, also you can fab a tool like this:

I really dont know, I havent worked with that plug, but maybe its VERY tight. I have read that you can remove the sensor of the reservoir if the plug is frozen and from there empty the reservoir. IDK. Good luck.

3/16 is right. Try tapping the drive in first with a hammer so its firmly seated and that will reduce the blowout probability and add a boxwrench at the end of the ratchet handle to increase the torque as you undo it.

If you are afraid and dont want to unplug the sensor, just pull out the IPR and put a lot of rags to stop or catch the oil. But you will have to fill it up later, so

You're over thinking this. Did you strip the HPOP plug?
