EFI to Carb
My friend gave me a 96 bronco that is wrecked. the running gear is great. I want to put the running gear (all of it, because it matches) into my 73 F-100 short wide. How hard would it be to convert that 5.0 into naturally aspirated engine, and get rid of the computer? Also how will doing this affect the tranny?

Sorry.. to use the computer controlled Bronco trans you need to keep not only the complete EFI system but the rear axle and speedo cluster since they contain components that make up the speed input to the computer.

What kind of changes do I have to make so I can get rid of all smog and computer crap, can some one tell me?

You should be able to pickup an C-6 and transfer case from up to a late 80's Bronco. The C-6 needs no electronics to function
