Head question

Stuff I knew and forgot, on head configuration/years. What years had adjustable rocker arms with the full 3/8 studs?

My 82 had them. I think they went pedestal mount in 85

It was either 85 or 86. My '84 has the adjustable stud rockers whereas the two '86 heads that I have are the pedestal mount style.

According to the local high-volume engine rebuilding shop's catalog the 3/8" studs were used from 65-74...and the 5/16" studs from 65-84.

IIRC, the 75 to 84 studs were still 3/8", they just taper down to 5/16" for the threaded part.
