Wow I can't believe I let this thread get so far behind without any updates.. Kinda dropped the ball on that one..
Since my last post all I have really gotten done is insulation and floor mats. I took the seat out one more time and cut insulation to fill the entire cab floor, and then threw in some old floor mats I had (for now). Eventually I want to buy/make a rubber floor to cover the insulation. All I have really done in the past month is start it once in a while and let it warm up.
When funds permit, progress will show.

Had to shorten the video to send it to myself, sorry guys. Here you can at least here it start and run a little. I'll try to get the next section sent so you can hear it run outside the truck.

Sorry updates are so few and far between fellas.. The quality of the videos was less than desirable, but all I have to take them with is my cell phone. If I had something that would record sound decently I would love to warm her up and do a run/rev for you guys, she really sounds good around that 3k rpm mark.

I haven't touched the truck since I made those cruddy videos for you guys.. Not by choice..
I will be done with college in about 6 months and I'm hoping to get it quite a bit farther at that point. Right now the funds aren't allowing me to get much farther. I still want to do some body work and shoot a coat of paint on it, probably white. Hang in there with me guys, I know it's boring waiting for updates that don't come.. but don't worry, I haven't given up on this one, it's always in the back of my mind.

Well guys, I have some good news for this thread
I start my internship Monday morning, meaning I will have a job that pays substantially better than what I have been making for the last several years.. This translates into me having some funds to work on the truck again. My next purchase for the highboy is going to either be a rubber floor, or new tires. I need both, so those will probably be the next 2 big purchases.
I also have a contact that said he would help me do some body work and paint it some time, all I have to do is let him know ahead of time and bring it over to his place. I will probably do the body work before I take it over, so all we will have to do is tape it off and spray on some paint.
I have to decide if I want to try to fix the box that is on it, find a new box, or find a flatbed for it.. Right now I am thinking about trying to save the box it has, but I will have to take a much closer look at it.
