I have a xl model 2006 f-350(it does have the backup senors, cruise, tilt, but NO power windows locks seats or electric air. My question is if i found a complete interior out of a lariet or harley davidson could I swap everything out. I know i would have to do some work on the power windows but would the power cord be there for the seats? If not could i just jump power to the seats? Also would i be able to change the dash into the electric air?
Thanks Josh
it will also require the door panels to complete. I did the same thing with my ranger, ended up making my own wire harness for the doors, locks, mirrors etc. so yes it can be done. The seats I ran the ground to the chasis via a screw in the floorpan, the hot wire I ran thru relays (for all the other stuff also) to the wire that goes to the motors. It is actually fairly simple IF you get ALL the donor vehicles parts before hand.
Are you sure the wiring harness isn't already their ? I bet yuh that you might just need the panels and motors, Is there a harness in the door jamm hinge area if not pull the kick panel and I bet yah there is a plug just waiting to be used
