I forgot to ask in my last thread about an EB conversion I want to do to my 5.0 '95 Bronco XT Full size.
I want to put in the Power locks and windows etc as well as a new dashpanel. ...... My question is the wiring already put in at Fords for an upgrade or do I have to get extra wiring harnesess for the Power locks etc. I do realise I would have to get the relays though. Any one done a conversion? I would appreciate any Problems you came across. Does an EB have Power Seats?
I have a 95 EB. It does not have power seats, mainly because you have to manually flip the seats forward to get into the backseat. I think it does have the power lumbar support though.
I've done that conversion to my '83, which you can see in my sig link. There are no relays for PW/PL/PM - just switches, motors, & wiring. You have to get the door panels, switches, & wiring from a '92-96 truck, but the motors can come from almost any Ford product of that era or earlier. (Lock motor connectors vary slightly.) It's especially hard to get the driver's door harness because it runs continuously from the driver's lock motor all the way to the passenger's kick panel, so make SURE you watch the junkyard guys pull it (to make sure they don't f*** it up) or pull it yourself. Plan on it taking a while. Read the section here about pulling the dash - it'll make it easier.
