Have you run the ground/unground test on the sensor wires?

just curious, what are the ohms suppose to be for the instrument cluster voltage regulator. bdw-r306?

Probably zero. Testing for resistance will not fully test the regulator. It works like a turnsignal flasher, and chops the voltage up to regulate it.
