Well it showed up today.
Talk about STUPID drivers.....How about the Truck with
the fish guts that dumped it's load on the road. Semi dumps load of fish guts on Wash. hwy | kgw.com Portland
Something about the load sloshing around and flipping the trailer.
Oooh nasty.. I certainly am glad i don't live there. I would be pissed. My brother had a trailer flip when he was towing it once, it was on the news. He was pulling 2 trailers out towards Cle Elum and the wind caught the second trailer and pushed it over. His haul of cardboard caught fire and shut down all the lanes on that side.
Somebody get on here and tell those of us that couldn't make it, how the meet went.
It went great actually. Though only 4 made it, it was fun. Among me were Yahiko, Joshofalltrades and Opossum. We had a lot of pizza and talked about a lot of things. We were there till about 10:15-20 i think. A lot more fun with more people. I am glad i was able to make it.
it was good meeting you guys tonight!
as for going up north, i'd be fine with everett, marysville, whatever, but freeland (whidbey island) or whatever is a bit much for me.
the other guys who were there tonight are all on the south end. i guess no one place can be in reach for everybody, but if there are a number of guys up north, i see no reason why there can't be a north meet and a south meet
Everett would be do-able for me I think. It's about an hour or so drive time going via Deception Pass to Mount Vernon then south to Everett from Oak Harbor.
