I have a 2011 F250 4X4 Supercab 6.7L that has a highly annoying knock/rattle (you can't hear it) under the front passenger side floor. It feels like someone is tapping on the floor beneath your feet any time you hit a bump or when on a rough road.
Its been in at least 5 times in 2 yrs with cab mount adjustments/shims, cab mount replacements and realignment of the exhaust and brackets. The knock has been there since about day one (I assume anyway, I'm rarely on that side of the cab) and have burned up my 36k warranty, although I'm told i'm good because it is pre-existing.
I keep insisting its in the suspension and keep being told they can't find anything. The mechanic indicated that this is a known problem, but Ford has not put out any service bulletins other than to do the cab mounts and suspension. Has anyone had this problem and found the solution?
I have on my older ones 99-03,but i know its been on others.I found the common problem is the sway bar links,mounts,ect....Always has been problem before, havent heard any on new ones yet.
Suspension Knock - 1999 F250 SD - SC 4X4. I've replaced everything except for my springs. I suspect the springs are weak. Have you had an answer to your question?

It turned out to be a blown front, passenger side Rancherro shock absorber (truck had 5,000 or so miles on it when I first noticed it). They had to put some kind of sensors on the frame and kept driving around until they could zeroe in on the source.
I guess it took a total of six visits (mostly over the last three months) for them to find it with only the last visit really being focused on finding the suspension issue. The other five visits were focused on cab mounts and exhaust brackets, as thats were Ford kept leading them.
Overall though, the mechanic and service writer (at the second dealership) really seemed to care, were as frustrated as I was with Ford and put in a good effrt to find/fix the problem. Even after it the 36,000 mile warranty lapsed. The first dealership (one that a friend works at) said there was nothing wrong and that it was normal!

Thanks for the follow-up report.
Glad they found the problem. Did FOMOCO wind up footing the bill since you are off your 36k warranty?
Glad it the isolated the noise and replaced the shock. May want to consider some replacement Bilstein 5100's all the way around now. The stock shocks are garbage...
I had the same issue! R/S front shock was blown and spring was pounding in the upper spring seat. Installed the Bilstein 5100's and all my rattle/squeak issues went away. Hope they stay away.
