That isn't the point of this thread, I asked you nicely to please keep your opinions to yourself.
But it's part of the debate. Do you want to keep losing stuff? I have never been broken into and I've had over 50 vehicles with no alarms...................see?

Where did i put that this thread was a debate?!? Seriously just drop it.
Thieves are the worst. Sorry to hear they got away with your stuff and damaged your truck. I think train horns hooked up to an alarm system would make them run, especially if the train horns were mounted inside the vehicle. Maybe have it hooked up to a separate hidden battery so when they cut the main battery line, they get really surprised. A lot of money and time but would be awesome to see them running away deaf.
I think thats a great idea. I has thinking about wiring up relay to my radio that if it was removed to horn would stay on but train horns would be way better lol
Very simple; don't leave stuff in your vehicle. They must have seen or known about something.
THIS .. i got broken into at a chucky chesse i was away from my truck tor 3 min i thien needed to get something from my truck and well lets just say if you search my name i have already told the end result here... i now leave nothing showing .. stock everything

to combat this I as a cwp/ccl/ccp holder say this .. invest in a truck safe for these situations .. i have .. my example is i can carry on school grounds when picking up my kids .. lets say the teacher or principal wants to chit chat .. i can walk back to the truck and lock it away as your not alowed to bring the weapon inside the building .. same with other buildings that i regularly go to ... here is a link for a few .. that will remidy that gun situation .. and one of them will remidy the gun and purs situation
OK it is a thread but I can contribute to it. I thought you didn't want to get broken into anymore.
But you act like i had my gun on the dash and her purse on the drivers seat.
her purse was under the passenger seat and my gun was in the center console. None of which were visible. Im sure what they came in for was the $1000 radio in the dash.

I read that post a while back. I have a CCL but hide my gun where thieves wouldn't have enough time to find it when I leave the truck. For me, hiding things has been the best defense. You can get any alarm you want but now days they expect it and just smash and grab.

I understand that totally but it's like leaving a ten on the seat and having a thousand in the console and then saying "dam, they stole all my money". I leave that stuff at home or have a hiding place where they can't donate that much time to find it (like the time they stole my fender washers). I don't know how they got in then, maybe a slim jim.

so i should take my radio out when i leave home? NOTHING was able to be seen besides the radio.

No. I guess you missed the point, I know they will break in for a nice radio but the minute you install it your break in chances go up which is why I say hide things that are valuable or leave them home if you can. This way they only will take what they see. Don't get me wrong, I was burglarized 7-8 times and I know how it feels which is why I am trying to help others. They are not going to spend time going through all your possible hiding places but will smash and grab what they see.
