Truck Broken into AGAIN, Need Alarm door wiring help

Hello, I am working on my 97 F150 XLT, Without factory keyless entry and without factory alarm. I am trying to hook up the door triggers but I can't figure out how they work, Does anyone have a schematic of the system? I know i have to diode isolate each door but when i hook up the - trigger wire the alarm goes off with the doors open or closed. Using the dome light as the trigger is not an option (read below)

My truck has been damage 3 times (only 2 times actually getting in).
The first time my truck was broken into they punched the key cylinder into the door to break into the truck. Only a few things were missing nothing really important (mostly change), so upon a web search I found these "Jimmy Jammer" things to bolt inside the door to prevent this from happening again.

The second time they tried to punch the lock again (both cylinders were damaged) but then they tried to pry the handle away from the door, (they didn't get in the second time but did several hundred dollars in damage in the process). So i decided to install an alarm. I picked up a 2-way pager alarm system and installed it (except the door trigger), I couldn't figure out how the door triggers work on this truck, I called the alarm manufacture and they said to use the dome light as the trigger, so i did. The problem with this is that the dome light comes on when you lift the handle (weather you open the door or not), and thus sets off the alarm. Drunk people found this out and the alarm gets set off by them multiple times a night when they are out, so i eventually stopped setting the alarm.

This led to the third time my truck was broken into, to get in this time they DRILLED the lock cylinders out to get in and steal my in dash DVD player, they also broke into my buddy's 94 Eddie Bauer Bronco but it had a factory alarm so they scattered when they got it open. between the two vehicles about $4000 in damage (including a new dash for my truck and a new door skin for his).

As a college student I don't have the money to keep repairing break in attempts (insurance only covers if there is a police report and the police will only come out if there is $3000 in damage or more and it takes them a long time to arrive, a little under 3 and half hours when we called for the third break in), so i need a working alarm that can't be set off by people just being stupid.
Thanks in advance
-Brad

Thanks for the reply, but i have been on that site before and I cannot find any schematics. The wire they have listed for the door trigger on the 97 FSeries is the dome light wire. I did find the diagram i was looking for it just took a while to dig up (I've been looking for about a week).

At this point it's cheaper to not leave anything in the truck and let the door unlocked.
Disable the fuel or ignition and let it set unlocked.
One way is to put a switch in the crank position sensor lead.
Then nothing works but crank-over.
Good luck.

Drunks are inadvertently setting off your alarm by pulling your door handles? I don't believe that. They are probing to see if the truck is unlocked and/or if there is an alarm. I say go back to using the dome light. Sounds like it was working.
