Have you checked in the North Carolina chapter to see if there might be someone near you that might have a SG2 or even an AutoEnginuty (high power/dollar computer software)? Might save you a little bit of money right now if funds are tight.

i got a scanner but when i plugged it up it it keeps saying the thing aint plugged in..i guessing there might be a fuse blown but i dont know where it is i have no diagram...any ideas

Pull fuse for the cigarette lighter. Both the OBD port & cigarette lighter port (below the dash) are on the same circuit. All code readers need power at the OBD to check for any codes or to view live data.
