just happened at my house, ran 2 days ago, no engine issues before, replaced CPS, good batteries, drops to 12v while cranking, new fuel filter, oil/filter, #30 fuse good, not cold out, im guessing the new sensor could be bad? any ideas?
What is your location? Maybe someone here could give you a hand or has AE.
Any way to get data from your IPR and ICP?
Did you replace the CPS because it was not starting? What brand of CPS did you put on it? Was it Ford Stock CPS?
Can you pull the top plug on the HPOP and check for oil within 1/2 to 1 inch from top?
What is the oil level on you dipstick? Do you have any recent oil leaks?
If you unplug your ICP on the front and top of the drivers side head....will it start then? This will set a code for the ICP so keep that in mind. Is there oil inside the connector for your ICP?
Are you getting your Wait To Start light? Can you measure voltage on the GPR on the Glow plug side to make sure your glow plugs are getting power. The drivers side large wire on the GPR is the one to check for power when you turn your key on. Between that wire and ground on DC volts.
probably not glow plugs but you can at least check the relay for voltage. What is the temperature where you are located?

Reason: More.
wait to start light comes on, glow plugs have power, i took out a black cps and i got a cheap $25 one from advanced auto which is grey in color, could that be the issue? no recent oil leaks, oil level full, just checked ICP connector and its covered in oil, is it better to get one from ford or international?

Ford or International should be fine, and pick up a CPS while you are there. The truck should start/run with the ICP unplugged if the ICP is the issue, but having oil on it does mean you need a new one.
ICP disconnected and still crank, no start and nothing on the tach, any ideas before switch out the new cheap auto parts store CPS for a ford one? fuel is getting to the fuel bowl, nothing out of the tail pipe, wiring looks good, any1 know the resistance spec on the CPS?
What is the voltage on the battery when cranking. Must ne a minimum of 10.5 volts for the pm to fire the injectors. Probably the aftermatket cps. Fully charge your batteries and get a ford cps.
