Bench Seat recommendations

Right now i have buckets from a late 70's ford in my ride. It was pretty cool while i was driving around cheerleaders in high school. Now im a bit older and renewing the ole pickup means i have to now not only provide a place for my cheerleader to sit, but also my resulting 8 year old daughter .

I was wondering if anyone had any luck finding anything decent in the bone yard to reupholster.

I was thinking of something from a late model passenger car or light truck with the fold down center console. The width of the cab obviously limits choices.

I used a 60/40 split bench from a 97 Silverado. I chose it because of the folding center section with storage.

Those trucks had drive train tunnels that passed through the middle and for that reason you will need to get creative on fabbing up mounting. I used 2" square material to do mine.

Here's a few shots of the end result:

If you are talking about the 51 f-1 then ranger seats fit okay. I'v seen a few on here and some of them build a plat form for or something to get the seat placed where they like it the best. There are a lot of different ones to choose from just from the rangers , bench,buckets,60/40 with fold down arm rest and others .
