Based on an earlier thread where the pressure washer sand blast attachment from Northern tools was mentioned, I ordered it and started working on my '51 frame this afternoon. These pics were about 25 minutes into the job. Very satisfied and had to snap a few pics. Once complete it will be sprayed with spi epoxy.
Keep posting pics. I don't know if you're planning on doing it or not, but using a large tarp to catch the media is a real plus. You can use a strainer and reuse it a few times.
I also used SPI epoxy, good stuff. Here's my frame.
It starts at the bottom of the page and continues on next page.
Oops. I see you are talking about wet-blasting. I looked on northern tools and couldn't find it. Could you post a link, I'm interested as I still have more blasting to do.
Based on prior sandblasting experiences, this is much better because of no dust. It goes through media just as fast though. The media I am using is leftover sand from a local blasting company....they run the sand through their machine 3 times and after that they dump it so I stopped by and got a 55 gallon drum of free sand.
