Super Duty Bucket Seat Install

Well I finally found a set of good seats for my truck at an price I just couldn't pass up. The seats are out of a 2001 F350 Super Duty Lariat. They are tan leather, the drivers is electric and I even got the matching center console with them. Total price $250 and a couple hour drive up to Redmond Oregon to get them. So on with the pics and the install!

My old bench seat

The New seats and console

First I ran new wires for the elctric seat

I used the brackets that came on the buckets and drilled new holes for 7/16 bolts

Drivers seat installed and working!

Center console installed

Passenger seat installed

Everything done and cleaned up

They even look great from the outside!

what kind of mods did you have to do to get everything to bolt up and hold the center console down

Nice! They look comfortible!

Only thing I don't like about those is the high bck rest and head rest. I know I know total comfort, but it looks weird from the outside seing tall back rest seats with head rests in an old truck.

Both seats required 4 new holes to be drilled and each seat took 3 big washers used as spacers under the brackets to make the seats sit level.

The center console took no mods, it fit the hump almost perfect and I just used 4 self taping sheet metal screws to secure it.

They are very comfortable, I am in heaven with the lumbar support and the high backs!

As for them looking weird from the outside... they for sure catch your eye, you can read the lariat on the seats right through the window. To me it looks awesome!

That would be an awesome price! I bet they pull the beds to get the gas tanks out.
