i have a 96 ford f150 with a 5 speed manuel trans. i am haveing problems with the motor starting. It will start when it is cold but when the truck gets hot and u shut it off after it gets hot then the truck will not start. it will try to start but wont quite do it. I have good spark and the fuel relay is good. I am out of ideas the truck has good fuel pressure also. I have checked everything while the truck wouldent start after it had ran for a wile. Eny thing u can think of to try would be much apreciated thanks.
is it cranking rpm low or just failure to catch and run?
if its cranking rpm, i'd look into the starter getting too hot from exhaust or poor condition of battery cables etc. New cables, start relay and starter and adding a heat shield to the starter usually fixes that up.
Or if its turning over well but not running, look into the ignition module failing when hot.
