Welcome! Sounds like a fantastic project! My dad and I started building my truck when I was 12 and those times are absolutely some of my finest memories of my life. It will bring the two of you together in ways that most fathers and sons never are able to experience. I'm 35 now and going through truck again. With every move I make, it feels like he's right there with me. Your son will truly cherish it. My son is 4 right now and I can't wait until it's time for me to do a project with him for him to drive!

Actually, I see it as a manipulative tactic on her part to force me to unload the piles of vacuum tubes and general mass hysteria from the garage. Truthfully, she does have a valid point.. somewhat. I guess it works out for all three of us in the end.
As well, her dad (grandpa) is in on it. Dylan's Uncle restores old Dodge Power Wagons and grandpa can't stand them. So, when Dylan started talking about a Power Wagon, grandpa made the offer to loan on a Ford. Soap operas have nothing on this truck's latest move. We will give it a great home no matter what the drama is behind the collective motivation.
