I think it is worth it, looks way better in my opinion. Adapters are cheap. If you don't want to cut, you could always get a newer header panel. There are a bunch of write ups on here as to how to do the swap. I say do it if you don't mind spending a little time working on making it fit, go for it. I'm glad I did the swap.
