Figured I would share my recent work on truck quick. But first I need to admit im an idiot. I totally forgot to take a picture of the truck prior. It had your basic rotted out fenders and kinked hood etc. Threw on the new mirrors, bumper and few body panels. Also clear lenses and chrome trim. I used the summit racing brand paint "Dark candy apple red metallic" and their clear coat. Its nothing too fancy, just wanted something clean for the business. so here it is
ya that bumper was a pain in the you know what to get on. Had to weld the bumper frame to the truck and notch everything back on it. then bolt it back together just to clear the plow set up
very nice!!
prepare for lots and lots of looks and complements.people by the thousands, love the looks of these older 9th gens all cleaned up.
that sure is a bummer about the lack of before pics though.ah well.she'll make ya proud now.
thanks F250XLT, figured you would like it. Just gotta fix up the dump body a bit. I need to try and run over the gate with the excavator and straighten it or just get a new one. Have some new steel to weld in etc. getting it blasted and powder coated from a friend. also throwing 1 stack out the pass side. I am getting tired of inhaling the fumes when working around it.
