axel joints in 96 f-250

the front axel joints, can someone give me infon on how to replace them?

pull off hubs, pull off spindles, and pull out axle shafts. then you can access u joints.

is it a diy job or do they have to be pressed out, i was told they needed to be pressed out

They are press fit, but it can be done without any special tools.

Sockets and a hammer is what i use to press out joints.
