Lowering kit?
So I have been thinking about my upcoming 05+ 4wd swap. As I understand it this will lift my truck about 2 inches from where it sits now. The reason I have been looking at the 4x4 swap is 2 fold... first, I happened into a good deal.
Second I frequent dirt roads (mostly packed dirt... not off-road) and on inclines I sometimes have traction issues and end up making holes.
I am NOT looking to slam my truck. This truck will never be used off road but I do run long trips (often unloaded) on road.
I would like to try to counter-act the MPG hit that 4WD system will add.
So has anyone lowered a truck bay 2 inches or so? Also, I do not want to loose my towing capacity though...
