borrowed my brothers 99 Ranger 4.0
It has developed a vacuum leak I can't find.
codes read lean in both cylinder banks
replaced vac lines for evap system and it stopped for a coupe of days
back worse than ever. I know it's a vacuum leak cause when you hit the throttle the air quits coming through the vents and goes to the floor and defrost vents and loses power when climbing hills or trying to pass a car.
Checked all the vac lines I could find and they were good.
Anyone have any suggestions.
Thanks
I've located vacuum leaks by spraying carb cleaner on to suspect areas while the engine is running.
Listen for a change in the idle as the fluid is sucked into the leak.
USE EXTREME CAUTION TO PREVENT A FIRE.
