If my truck was new I would dismantle and powdercoat but I would hate to take the time and spend the money just to have a caliper go on me after the work. lol
These things come with custom prints and colors as well.

The covers cost MORE than the calipers!~!! 200 bucks!!! Paint is cheaper!
I'd sooner spend $200 for 4 covers than dismantle 4 calipers, take them in for powder-coating, wait a week to get them back, buy a new seal kit, re-instal them and bleed the system (which I did last week). I did all this on my Vette and I didn't mind because it was not my daily driver. I need this truck up and running in the same afternoon. Not to mention.... do all that work and spend the time to find out a caliper goes bad.... no thanks!
On my new VW Passat all I did was pull the wheels, spread a little newspaper around where I didn't want paint - used a little throwaway brush to clean 'em with Mineral Spirits, and sprayed 'em. They look GREAT!! Been about a month and they still look like I just did 'em. LOTS cheaper.
