Van problem
I have a problem with my 2005 ford econoline e350 van
After I start the engine and go to begin driving
It the engine revs but the van does not move and then it kicks in
I thought it might be low transmission fluid but the fluid is fine
Is it transmission and if so what do I do or could it be something else

It sounds like a transmission problem, could be the burnt clutches in the tranny , causing it to slip ,or the front pump's gone bad ?

Thanks I just went out and tried it and it gradually engages not jerk into gear
Does this help at all with diagnosis

Did you check the fluid level with running engine?

Some people like to forget that the engine has to run and idling in position "P" or "N"

If they tell you a number larger than, say, 1800, you can get a complete reman for that and still hve 300 left to pay someone to install it.
