HUI,I have a 1995 f-450 super duty truck that i have a problem with.
When i start from a dead stop i have the truck act like went into neutral
then it the trany reconnects had it scanned and it said there was a problem with a shift solenoid,but for some can not find enough info.
about it,where it is located,how to replace it.
I have looked on several forums no info. about it at all.
In the few days we going to flush the trany hope that will help a little,thanks
HI,The problem i have with my truck is it feels like it drops out of gear
and if you go thru the gears one at a time then you do not have as much
problems shifting,was told this could be just one solenoid that is wrong in trany,but you can not find out anything about which one is which or
the cost of solenoids it does not help when there is more month then there is money any help would be appreciated,thanks
Mark is correct about location within the pan. There are a bunch of them down there but very easy to replace. I am sure if you search this site there is a post which details the one your looking for.
