ok.. i have no forward gears. but i have reverse.. i pulled my pan off and pulled the valve body's off and seen no trash.. look mechanically good, valve bodies clean. .noticed the tranny fluid looks burnt. how do i check to see if im getting power to my solenoids or how do i check them.. thanks..

If you tried to shift your transmission into a manual gear by selecting 1st, 2nd or drive with the shift lever then you dont have a problem with your solenoids. It sounds like you may have a pump problem or some other catastrophic trouble.
