crank specs

I recently spun a rod bearing and dropped my oil pan upon further reveiw it actually looks like i didnt do too much damage. My question is what should the shaft read as far as a micromiter goes? I need to know if i need an undersized bearing or if i can just get a stock replacment

Ford factory manual:
Rod journal Diameter 2.3103"-2.3111"
Journal taper (per inch) .0006"
Max out of round .0006"
If the rod insert actually "spun" check the rod big end, it will more than likely need to be rebuilt/replaced/

So i just put a micrometer on my crank journals and it looks like im running .1 smaller than spec. The most i can find as far as bearings go is .04 undersized. Do i need to just get a new crank or do i have other options?

A journal that's down 0.100", you would almost be able to "see" that without a micrometer, that's almost an 1/8" down.
If it is down that much, another crank is your only option.
