help with greasing slip yoke,spline

I found DIY for a 4x4 on how to remove shaft and grease spline, but I have a 2wd with a split axle, after I drop the drive shaft from the rear end can I pull it out of that rubber boot with 2 clamps or is there an easier way.
Thanks

P.S..I do have that clunk when stopping and starting.

We need more info on your truck for starters. If you're not having symptoms, then why are you performing the maintenance? Is the truck still under warranty?

Right now I am looking for a picture of a 2 piece driveshaf.I do not no where to start at,there are three u-joints I see under there.
So anyone with a picture of a 2009 2wd driveshaft appreciate some help.
You would think with all the thousands of post about this problem there would be one out there.

I would think the DS is part of the powertrain, which I believe is 5/60 isn't it?

I also have has this problem with my 2 piece drive shaft on my 2011 screw w/ 6.5 f bed. Like you said, Ford considers this mainenance and therefore not covered under warranty after 36,000. Anyway, I went to Lowes and bought a tube of Lucas greese that comes in a tube that you can squeeze yourself. If you crawl under the truck find the middle U joint connection where that rubber sleeve holds up the drive shaft. If you are looking at the front of that assembly (looking at it from the front of the truck), there is a black plastic ring that has about 1/4" of space between it and the rubber sleeve. I pushed the grease in there so that the space was no longer visible. After 2 or 3 take offs, the bump/slip was gone. 15,000 miles later, still hasn't returned. I am sure it will in time, but this appears to be an easy DIY fix.

I went to ford and showed the service tech the TSB bulllitins old and new ones,I told him I was going to do it myself since I had bought the marine grease with teflon, he said do you want me to do it now and then my jaw droped,he even ask me if I wanted to watch the guy do it.
It took 5 minutes and he was done.
He checked my records and seen I was there before with the same problem so maybe that had something to do with it being a freebe.
He told me to have it done every 30,000 miles, now I can enjoy my truck.
Thanks to this site because I never would have known there was a problem.
